چکیده

The paper has developed an optimization procedure to design the rotor lamination and magnetic sizes. average torque is improved by changing thickness of outer bridge width. Various metamodels with best prediction performance generated for each multi-objective functions constraints have been selected. By applying a genetic algorithm, several optimal solutions be considered compare those initial model. Hence, method designing interior permanent magnet (IPM) motor presented obtain high reliability maximum torque. This development allows estimate back electromotive force (EMF), flux density electromagnetic In addition, ripple evaluated via analytical Matlab program coupled finite element algorithm optimization. Rotor laminations are finally stamped assembled into verify EMF under rated load no test.

Multiobjective Optimization of IPM synchronous motors using Response Surface Methodology and filtered Monte Carlo approach

Abstract --Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors offer high efficiency and power density besides low assembly effort and hence have been established in a wide market over the past years. Especially buried magnets enable a superior field weakening ability but require an exceptional design effort. Costly Finite Elements computations are inevitable for consideration of the occurring non-linearity an...

Induction Motors Thermal Monitoring by Means of Rotor Resistance Identification

Rotor and stator temperature are of concern in both shortterm machine protection and in longer term condition monitoring for large induction machines. Especially, when operating with overload cycles, it is necessary to monitor rotor bars and stator winding temperatures to make sure that the temperature remains below prescribed limits. The purpose of this paper is to present a thermal monitoring...

Copper in the Rotor for Lighter, Longer Lasting Motors

This paper reviews the advantages of substituting die-cast copper for aluminum in the motor rotor. This advance in motor technology has been long sought by the motor industry but short die life due to the high melting point of copper frustrated attempts to manufacture by pressure die casting. The nickel-base alloy hot die technology developed to solve the manufacturing problem is briefly review...
